As the sun sets on the city, the doors of St. Mary’s Guildhall open to reveal a different side of Tales of Tea. Under the glow of fairy lights and framed by our stunning medieval arches, we invite you to Tales After Dark.

Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long week in the office or seeking the perfect prelude to a night out in Coventry, our historic undercroft transforms into a sanctuary of music and flavour.

Open from 5.00pm on a monthly basis.

What is Tales After Dark?

Immerse yourself in the soulful atmosphere of music. Taking place on a monthly basis from 6.00pm with our resident DJ, followed by monthly sessions of cuban music and contemporary sets.
Sip on chilled, house-made cocktails and share a selection of authentic Caribbean-inspired small plates. It’s the taste of Cuba served in the heart of English heritage.
Reserve your spot, and enjoy the "after dark" magic of one of the city’s most storied spaces.
We kindly request that you arrive on time for your reservation. Tables are held for 15 minutes, after which they may be reassigned to other guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Booking is recommended. Although walk-ins are welcome, but please note that we can't guarantee a table.

Please note seating sessions are from 5pm until 7pm and 7pm until 9pm.
