  • J5 - then via New Union Street to Little Park Street, then Earl Street, turning left into Bayley Lane

Ample parking is available at  public car parks, situated within easy walking distance of the Guildhall. Free street parking is also available in designated zones of the city centre after 6:00pm, and all city centre public car parking is free on Sundays..

By coach

Group and delegate visits by coach are warmly welcomed, although coaches are requested to set down passengers opposite the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum at the bottom of Bayley Lane, just a few yards from the Guildhall entrance, as it is difficult for large vehicles to manoeuvre in the narrow lane beyond this point.
